These Cempasúchil candles were carefully handcrafted by master artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico. Each flower is carefully shaped by hand with skills learned from the generations before them. These candles add the perfect touch to your ofrendas, or as a part of your home decor.

Due to the natural and artisanal processes involved in the production of our handmade items, no two pieces will be the same. While there may be some slight variations in shape and color, the integrity and quality of the product will remain intact; Casa Y Cocina would never ship you an item we wouldn’t be proud to use and/or display in our own homes. We inspect all items before shipping and pack all orders with care.

These are showstoppers. They are better than advertised. I'll never burn them. The intricate detail and the colors are so rich, and they're not chalky like other colored wax candles. They're so beautiful and the packaging is superb. I felt so special opening it up. The only complaint I had was with shipping. I'm a local, probably less than 20 miles up the road. USPS took a crazy route (through NJ?) and so it took so much longer to receive. The price point, while it may feel a little steep to pay $100 out the door for these 2 candles, I still think it's very *fair*. I have spent more money on lesser quality items that didn't last at all. And these are handmade by Mexican artisans, just because they're handmade doesn't mean they should be cheap. For me, they are keepsakes that are going to last me a very long time and bring so much joy each time I display them.
On photo they look better. I thought the candles were taller. They are well made for sure. Now that I have them, a hundred dollars was a lot of dough for them.
