Barro Ahumado Heart Mezcalero

These beautiful milagro heart shaped mezcaleros are made of barro rojo, or red clay, and feature a smoked color. This barro ahumado, or smoked clay, color was made using ancestral techniques, with a wood oven and with a process called “reduction” to create its smoked color. These rustic cups are perfect for your mezcal, tequila or even espresso shots! They can also be used to hold spices, salts or small trinkets. These cups will add a bit of rustic beauty to your kitchen or home decor.
Because they are handmade, no two pieces are exactly the same. Due to their porous nature the bowl will appear wet if liquid or food is left in it for long periods of time.
