Barro Mug Care Guide:
A Few Simple Steps Before Your First Sip!
- Completely submerge the barro mug in clean water.
- Let it soak overnight (about 8–12 hours).
- Remove it from the water & allow it to air dry completely before using it.
Long-Term Care
Avoid the dishwasher! (Hand wash only.)
Why Soak It?
Unglazed barro is naturally porous. Soaking it before its first use helps hydrate the barro, which can make it less likely to absorb liquids too quickly & helps prepare it for regular use.
