The markings on the Moro beans have to be among the most beautiful of all heirloom beans. These beans seem to be a cross between a pinto and a black bean, with a rich, dense texture and a bean broth that you could eat alone as a soup, without the beans! The beans are velvety yet solid. They're great for stews, slow-cooked one pot meals, dips and even salads!

Due to the natural and artisanal processes involved in the production of our handmade items, no two pieces will be the same. While there may be some slight variations in shape and color, the integrity and quality of the product will remain intact; Casa Y Cocina would never ship you an item we wouldn’t be proud to use and/or display in our own homes. We inspect all items before shipping and pack all orders with care.

Product photos are a close representation of this item. The physical color may vary slightly from the product photo on our website due to different device screen settings, the lighting in your home, and slight differences in product finishes over time, among other factors.
