End grain construction makes this cutting board one of the hardest-working surfaces in the kitchen, gentler on knife edges, more resistant to deep scoring, and naturally self-healing over time. The patchwork of suar wood pieces creates a surface that is almost abstract in its patterning, with warm tones shifting between pale cream and deep walnut-brown. Substantial enough for serious prep work, and striking enough to double as a serving board. Carved side handles make it easy to lift and maneuver.

- Wash with mild dish soap before first use and occasional oiling will maintain the wood's natural luster.
